Christmas Morning! :D

Christmas was amazing this year. :) As Brett puts it; "This is the best Christmas I have EVER had!"

Our loaded christmas tree on christmas eve

Ali made sure we were all up at exactly 7 a.m., (parents informed us that that was the earliest we were allowed to get up) to open our stockings.

Woot! We scored big!

Who needs breakfast when we have our stockings?

I am SO not a morning person...

We have a tradition to put up a wall between the family room and our bedrooms, so we have to wait until parents are ready, before we can go see all of our presents. It was a looong wait.

Brett got a flying bird\man!

Ali opening her big present... A wiggle cart!

Dad opening one of his presents

I got a panda! (I also got clothes, $money$, jewelry, gift cards, nail polish... etc.)

Brett opening his transformers, and flying man\bird

Ali got a horse book full of gorgeous horse paintings.

Sisters on X-mas morning

Brett opening some books.

Brett and Ali's wiggle carts. I had to try them out too, and they are tons of fun!

There was one last little present under the tree that we got to open, and guess what is was... A TRAMPOLINE!! We used to have one, but about a year\year and a half ago it ripped. Our new one, is bigger and much bouncier! :) Best present.. Ever!

Setting up for Christmas

Setting up for christmas is always one of my favorite parts of Christmas. :)

I held the ladder when he got to scary parts...

I was feeling a bit scared being up that high, but it was a nice feeling to look down on my dad. ;)

I had to go up on the roof to supervise Brett, and he scares me SO bad! He was RUNNING on the roof! Oh dear.. I'm glad we made it out of there alive.

See that grin? He scares me...

Brett and I were in charge of hanging up the wreath... We were laughing hysterically while doing it, which made it even harder. Haha, next time, someone taller get's to do it. :P

I'm squished! Hurry up!!

Do you have it yet?!

YAY! Done! (Dad had to come fix it, even though we tried.)

Setting up for Christmas is the best!

Update on Baby!

Yay!! Mom is 26 weeks, and baby is growing fast! This pregnancy has not been easy, let me tell you. Dad was gone to India for 2 weeks for work, which left Ali and I in charge of the entire house. Sheesh! He's beack now, but there is still plenty to do. Ali and I trade off doing dishes and dinners.
When Becky was pregnant with Brett, she had the same problem she is having now. She can't breathe. The baby sits too high up, and press's on her lungs. She has the choice of either eating, or breathing. As you can guess, she chooses breathing. She was already super skinny before this pregnancy, and now she is almost literally skin and bones! On good days she can tip the scale almost to 100 lb.s, but that's only on good days. On the bright side, because there is no fat, you can feel our little guy kicking and moving all around. Nothing makes us happier than putting our hands on her stomach and feeling how strong he is! I hope he calms down a little after he's born, because on some days he is crazy, and almost bouncing off the walls! ;) We are SO excited to meet him in person. We already have 4 boxes of adorable baby clothes, a graco, a crib, diaper bags, blankets, baby shoes, baby swing, rattles, car seats and much more! (Who knew a single baby needed so many things!) Needless to say, we can not WAIT to finally meet him.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a very fun event. Mom stayed back home because she didn't feel good enough to spend and entire weekend in -1 degrees. Ali and I went up Wednesday and played in the snow with the cousins all day, and then Brett and Dad came up Thursday (Thanksgiving). Wednesday night I was sick with a fever and cold, but I was semi better by Thursday.

Sad Story: So, the water froze Wed. night, and so Thursday we had no water. We had to walk about a 1\2 mile to the cabins near by, to get water. It wasn't very fun (especially because I was still kind of sick) but, it definitely made us realize how grateful we are for water!

Our Thanksgiving meal was delicious!! We all ate on paper plates because their was no water to wash dishes with after. Next year maybe we will get to eat on real plates. ;)

Almost all of us before digging in!

Happy Halloween!

We celebrated Halloween on Saturday night, by having ice cream, homemade caramel, stories and a sleepover in the basement. (We all ended up going to bed in our beds, because the floor really just isn't that comfortable...) For our ward Halloween party on Thursday we all got dressed up, and then on Friday Ali and I both went to a party.
Of course, Brett was a character from star wars. Here he is a storm trooper.

Ali with her bug antena's....

I was Pippi Longstockings... :)

I tried to get my braids to stand up and out, but the wires weren't quite working... Allwell!

Scouts :)

Brett is finally old enough to go to scouts, and he LOVES it! We went to his first pack meeting, and he was awarded his Bobcat. Now, he is working hard to get his Wolf! It's so cute to see how excited he is about Scouts, and he looks so awesome all dressed up in his uniform. :)

*He's the one in the middle

Congrat's on the being a boyscout Brett!
