Update on Baby!

Yay!! Mom is 26 weeks, and baby is growing fast! This pregnancy has not been easy, let me tell you. Dad was gone to India for 2 weeks for work, which left Ali and I in charge of the entire house. Sheesh! He's beack now, but there is still plenty to do. Ali and I trade off doing dishes and dinners.
When Becky was pregnant with Brett, she had the same problem she is having now. She can't breathe. The baby sits too high up, and press's on her lungs. She has the choice of either eating, or breathing. As you can guess, she chooses breathing. She was already super skinny before this pregnancy, and now she is almost literally skin and bones! On good days she can tip the scale almost to 100 lb.s, but that's only on good days. On the bright side, because there is no fat, you can feel our little guy kicking and moving all around. Nothing makes us happier than putting our hands on her stomach and feeling how strong he is! I hope he calms down a little after he's born, because on some days he is crazy, and almost bouncing off the walls! ;) We are SO excited to meet him in person. We already have 4 boxes of adorable baby clothes, a graco, a crib, diaper bags, blankets, baby shoes, baby swing, rattles, car seats and much more! (Who knew a single baby needed so many things!) Needless to say, we can not WAIT to finally meet him.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a very fun event. Mom stayed back home because she didn't feel good enough to spend and entire weekend in -1 degrees. Ali and I went up Wednesday and played in the snow with the cousins all day, and then Brett and Dad came up Thursday (Thanksgiving). Wednesday night I was sick with a fever and cold, but I was semi better by Thursday.

Sad Story: So, the water froze Wed. night, and so Thursday we had no water. We had to walk about a 1\2 mile to the cabins near by, to get water. It wasn't very fun (especially because I was still kind of sick) but, it definitely made us realize how grateful we are for water!

Our Thanksgiving meal was delicious!! We all ate on paper plates because their was no water to wash dishes with after. Next year maybe we will get to eat on real plates. ;)

Almost all of us before digging in!

Happy Halloween!

We celebrated Halloween on Saturday night, by having ice cream, homemade caramel, stories and a sleepover in the basement. (We all ended up going to bed in our beds, because the floor really just isn't that comfortable...) For our ward Halloween party on Thursday we all got dressed up, and then on Friday Ali and I both went to a party.
Of course, Brett was a character from star wars. Here he is a storm trooper.

I was Pippi Longstockings... :)

I tried to get my braids to stand up and out, but the wires weren't quite working... Allwell!

Scouts :)

Brett is finally old enough to go to scouts, and he LOVES it! We went to his first pack meeting, and he was awarded his Bobcat. Now, he is working hard to get his Wolf! It's so cute to see how excited he is about Scouts, and he looks so awesome all dressed up in his uniform. :)

Congrat's on the being a boyscout Brett!

Baby, we're half way!

My mom is almost exactly half way there!! She is 20 weeks\5months\half way!! She is SUPER skinny, because it is hard for her to eat and breathe at the same time. This baby boy is taking up too much room!! She is barely showing, but you can see a little bump!! :) Yay baby!!

It's a boy!!! :)

We went in for the ultrasound a few days ago, and found out it's a boy!!! We are all SO excited!! He is adorable, and was quite the little show off when we were watching him. He was: playing with his cord, grabbing his feet, arching his back, and moving all over the place!! We can't wait until March, when he's due! We love you little man!! :)

Teeth...

With my first set of Braces:

No Braces (Just retainer)

And yep, that's right. I had to get my braces back on. I only had them off for about a month and a half, after having them on for a year!! NOT fair!! Apparently on of my front teeth was starting to slide back up into the gums, and so I had to get braces back on to pull it down. Hopefully I will be getting them back off sometime in the next few weeks. They said I would only have to wear them for about a month.
(This is the only picture that I could really find where my right fronth tooth looks kind of higher then the left. I think you might have to zzom to see it.)

Me with Braces BACK on. :(

And, ALI GOT BRACES!!

Random fun at the Doughty's

Silly Ali! So much for a normal, cute picture. ;)

Ali and I trying out a face mask one night. Haha!

Brett: "I can see you Bonnie! I know that you're taking a picture!!"

Ali talkin' on the phone!

Ali painted my leg with fingernail polish while I was on the phone with a friend. Needless to say, it was there for almost 3 weeks!! :P Silly Ali

Ali and I had a recital\duet on the piano in church a few months ago. It turned out really good! Atleast I thought so...

Brett's Baptism

Brett's baptism was such an amazing day. He got to be baptized ON his birthday! It was very spiritual, and he was so excited we was just glowing. :) Happy Birthday Brett!

This is one of my favorite pictures of the day.

Most of the group. Thanks for coming everyone!
